It’s amazingly beautiful that Afghan immigrants are so much welcomed in USA and specially in Owensboro. I can see the community is greatly supportive for Afghans there in Owensboro upraising Afghan cuisine in the community. We culturally evolve by give and take of cultural values. I am a British Afghan and I have experienced and tasted being a refugee and I know many afghans immigrants in different countries waited decades to get the basic legal permits and right to work and I have heard stories of Afghan refugees who died while waited over two decades in a country to get basic legal residency permits and right to work while his wife and children were left behind in Afghanistan. While in USA it is greatly welcoming and supportive 😊
